5.0 out of 5 stars what a fantastic book, 19 Nov 2003
By A Customer
this is one of my favourate books. it's very touching, right from the beggining you are drawn into the sad world of young Star and cherie Bennet writes an excellent book that really pulls at the heart strings of the reader, i was in tears by the end, the charectors are well thought out, and i was truly touched by this book. i have read it about twenty five times, and that is no exageration. it still brings tears to my eyes. im surpirised this author hasn't had great recognition for this book. she is very talented to write such a brilliant book.
it is a comfortable read, easy to sink into and forget where you are, i could not put it down, the first time i read it i was supposed to join my family for a walk, but ended up walking with my nose firmly stuck in this book. i had to read it through to the end. i was hooked from page one.
on a different note, it raised awareness of the disease cystic fibrosis, which i knew nothing of before i read this book, and since have decided to do all i can to raise money in aid of the disease. it is a very inspiring book.
