Format:Audio CD
All of Inner City's original classic house/dance tracks are included on this CD. Since all of the songs date back to 1988-1992, many of these would be otherwise difficult to find. "Good Life" is easily and deservedly the most well known of these, with "Big Fun", "Do You Love What You Feel", and "Ain't Nobody Better" all taking you back to a particular place in time where the Inner City sound was considered fresh. Unfortunately for Inner City, they were unable to match the success of their first 4-5 hits, and listening to this CD will show you why. Most of the remaining tracks seem to rehash previously successful formulae which end up sounding like mediocre imitations of earlier hits. However, the lesser-known track "Pennies From Heaven" is perhaps one of their most underrated tracks, and I believe easily matches "Good Life". Both can be considered real classics, and together with their other hits, make this a worthwhile purchase.
Unfortunately for some, this disc is "Copy Controlled" meaning that it cannot be 'ripped' on your PC or Mac. It can still be played on a PC or Mac, as well as on regular CD players.

Arrived swiftly ....However , the "mix" , recording or whatever is dreadful ! ....I have some pretty high end gear to play music, and all I can say whoever was on the bass eq wants his bum kicked ! ....It's well over the top bass wise and some of the tracks sound mono and very dull !!....Plus that and not a great deal of the best mixed tunes are on the cd ....Cheap, but avoid....Good if you want all the hits and you are a bit deaf !!

This is good for those who are not fanatic inner city fans and just want to have the hits.
This cd have most of their hits but not all and not the best versions.
Good life is presented here with it's 12''mix which is not good. Where is the magic juan's mix ?
Where is the new remix of big fun ?
Where is the "teck no logical" mix of "that man he's all mine" ?
Where are some great tunes like "power of passion", "inner city theme" and "back together again" 12'' version ?
Even the great "whatcha gonna do..." is presented here NOT IN IT'S GLORY 8' Version. Where is the full morales def mix ?
Where is the great 12' version of the song DO YA ?
Also many of the rest hits included here are not presented in their full 12' versions.
I'M A FANATIC INNER CITY FAN AND I WANT ONLY THE BEST TO BE INCLUDED IN A GREATEST HITS COMPILATION.
