This is a great book, however it was just as great when it was first published in 1996! This is exactly the same book as 'Good Housekeeping Aga Cookbook', its just in a new cover with the word 'new' added (which it isn't).However all this confusion aside the recipes are easy to follow, not too fussy, and produce real food as can be expected by Good Housekeeping.

I bought this as a gift item for someone with an AGA, and it fits the bill, Good Housekeeping recipes are always reliable. People don't realise that cooking on an AGA is quite different from a conventional cooker, so if you have just got one - this is for you.

Bought this one when I moved into a house with an AGA. I already have the Good House Keeping Cookery Book and I use it as my bible for cooking times/methods for anything where I am not following another recipe. I was hoping that this book would be similar but for AGA's. It isnt. It has lots of recipes, but only a small section on the front on cooking methods. Some of the recipes also look a bit old fashioned.
I am still looking for my "bible" for AGA cooking.
