I have made a number of the recipes in this book, and so far have had no problems with any of them. You should note that all the measurements and ingredients are in American. So having your own set of american measuring cups could save you time.
There is a helpful chart at the back of the book to give the standard conversions, but most of these could have been found easily, some that are not mentioned are more difficult. Like how many grams are in a "packet" of yeast - I think it worked out around 7.
Ingredients are also their American variants Zucchini bread anyone? Almond Paste? (Courgette bread and Marzipan for those who don't already know).
Despite these failings, I still regularly return to this cookbook, with 600 recipes there is one for everyone, and I always find something new to try from it. The recipes have been amazing, and the explanations are well done and concise. Not every recipe has a picture (which is a little disappointing) but those that it does have look amazing!
