Fantastic value. An old fashioned cookery compendium in three parts. Mine - which used to belong to my Grandmother is really falling to bits. However I still use it as I am a rather messy worker and want to be able to hand this on to one of my daughters before it ends up in the same state as the one I have now. Nice to have one in good condition on the shelf as far away from the kitchen as possible. Very good value for money. You will struggle to find tuition and recipes like this anywhere much nowadays

I bought this to replace a copy I had that was a 1955 reprint, this one is 1954 but the only difference seems to be that my old copy had no ads. Very interesting that a lot of the brands are still around. I like the step by step photos in some of the basic recipes. This is the book that I learned to cook from at age 9.
