Tempted into thievery when their auto-repair business handles a car which can outrun police vehicles, they are constantly pursued by the hard-working policeman Blanchot (Bruno Cremer). During the occupation, the duo lend their skills to the resistance, and the policeman briefly becomes their ally, only to resume his pursuit of these charming criminals after the war. Entertaining But Not the Best From Lelouch,

The quality of the video is acceptable and you have the option of the audio in French with English subtitles. It was nice to see Marlene Jobert and Brigitte Fosey. The plot is a combination of comedy, drama with political and patriotic WW II overtones plus Jewish persecution which doesn't quite achieves the combination smoothly. The music by Francis Lai, as always, is excellent. Overall, an interesting movie that could have been better.
