and God's Good Urge is still doing it for me...I feel that not to rate this album would be a shame and I would like to share my thoughts on this album with you:
Having bought the album some time ago, and having had it viciously thieved at a party...was probably the worst downer of my life. Purchasing it again and after a good hardcore listening I was enevitably consoled by the albums mellow, yet beutiful sounds. Stephen Perkins drumming is still to me some of the most interesting and chronically controlled i've ever heard, Perry Farrell's vocals offering the most melodic, yet hectic i've heard. This album offers more to those with an appreciation for music, while you do not by any streach have to enjoy this album, you must, however, appreciate it.
Those of you who choose to buy this album, will not send it back or sell it. You'll keep it, and save it for times when you dont know what you want to listen to, or times when you want to relax...God's Good Urge offers the relaxed way of listening to music.
Please do buy this album, and I hope you find it as enjoyable and worthwhile as I have.
