About the Author

In 2004 she won both the Glenfiddich Cookery Writer Award and The Guild of Food Writers' Cookery Journalist of the Year Award.

Very practical and handy collection of salads' recipes. Divided into 6 chapters:
1. Starters and light lunches
2. Midweek suppers
3. Main-course platters
4. Vegetarian dishes
5. Side salads
6. Fruit salads
All recipes are step-by-step explained with the photo of ready salad. At the bottom you will find information how long it will take to prepare the meal, and nutrition facts - kcalories, proteins, carbohydrates per serving etc.
Salads are mostly simple, but for me inspiring - you can use marinates or dressing to create your own salad. This small book gives you wide choice of recipes - Italian, Asian, French etc.
I am really happy to have it, and with the price I've paid it was a bargain.

My all time fave of the GoodFood series - the salads are super yummy, easy to make and very creative.
We ate salads for 1 week and not one time did my husband complain about the greens ;o)
A top book I'd also give as a present.

This is a great book to have in your cupboard. it has the standard salad classics but also new ideas. No recipe has £££ or fiddly ingredients. everyone who looks at mine ends up buying their own.
