I was just saying yesterday that I was ashamed that I didn't read more. I read constantly as a young adult, but with 2 jobs I generally choose sleep over reading. So last night I was browsing Facebook when I saw someone's recommendation for Good Guy Sam. The title certainly had my attention, and when I saw how short it was and the price, how could I say No?
I'm so glad I got this book, it really reminded me how much I miss reading. My only real complaint is that the book was a little short, clocking in at about 20 pages. I really enjoyed the author's writing style though; witty and descriptive, with a real knack for putting the reader in to the story. As I read, I felt a real connection to Sam, a schlubby everyman, who becomes the reluctant hero.
To say I was left wanting more is an understatement - I can't wait to read the next installment of Good Guy Sam! Give it a try!
