GOOD ARROWS is a formidable collection of songs, and could well be a contender for the finest LP of 2007 thus far!

All of Tunng's vital ingredients are here - menacing vocal harmonies, rustic guitar picking, crackly samples and glitchy beats. This LP, like their previous two, is permeated with a decidedly dark and sinister edge (just check out the lyrics to "Hands" - the words will haunt you in the most delicious manner!) However, to counteract this darkness the music is buffed up and shiny and wonderfully melodic. Tunng's poppiest album to date? OH YES!

"Good Arrows" will compel you to finger pop and hum along to its endlessly catchy numbers. It is frighteningly consistent and also very, very unique. "Folktronica"? Hardly. This is timeless folk-pop.

Just listen to the awesome piano-fuelled "Bullets" (my current favourite). In an ideal world, this tune would be number 1 in the hit parade! It really is a remarkable pop tune and indicative of the fact that this band deserves more recognition.

If you are unfamiliar with the mighty Tunng, I strongly urge you to purchase this LP (and indeed their previous 2 albums - both highly palatable). Believe me, after a few listens your "tunng" will be hanging out and you'll be desperate for more!

Tunng are truly a buried treasure. In a more enlightened age they would be a household name instead of a minority concern. 'Good Arrows' is just as good as their previous two albums, taking their folk-pop melodies and computer beats to an even stronger place than previously.

Not heard the first two albums but gonna check them out too.
'Good Arrows' got great reviews in the press and rightly so. There are far too many adjectives to describe Tunng's sound I'm not going to bother! Just buy it you won't be disappointed.
