I have struggled to find a definitive guide to the many golf courses that are available in the Murcia area until now. For anybody interested in playing in this region, or who has a holiday home to let, this is essential reading. Lots of information, and written by a good player too, so he knows what he's talking about.

For any golfer planning to visit Murcia this is a really useful book to take with you. It starts with a great foreword from Stuart Tosh - formerly of 10CC obviously a keen golfer. Taken from a personal perspective of Michael Probert the format of the book is easily updateable as things change in the region with more golf courses getting completed. Good info on the courses is available as well as ideas of where to stay and what to do if you are a golf widow. It is the extra info which is useful such as green fees, which holes to look out for and the style of the course with scorecards. Very useful little location maps alongside the course info. As I know the Murcia region I would have liked more ideas of alternative things to do and choices of places to stay as this area has huge delights on offer and not just the 19th hole! Buy the book and get stuck into it whilst on the plane!

I play golf regularly in Murcia. When I came across this book I was intrigued. Its filled with good easy to read information which has clearly been properly researched. Very easy to dip in and out of, containing all sorts of little gems which would have saved me a fair amount of money over the last few years. Certainly worth having if you play, or have any intention of playing in the Murcia region.
