From the Author

Full color priceguide/discography-ALL Disney related records
This book, a price-guide/discography, covers all Disney and Disney-related shellac/vinyl records produced from 1933-1988 when Disney switched over to the CD format. It includes over 200 full color pictures of the glorious Disney art covers for some of these records, as well as a history of Disney recorded music; a composer filmography for over 750 features and shorts; and information on grading, buying and selling these historical recordings. It covers over 3300 recordings, with artist and song information as well as current prices. A must have for the Disneyana fan and record collector as well. Animation artwork collectors or enthusiasts will appreciate seeing Disney artwork released only for the records market. The first and only book of its kind. Collectibles that can talk back to you! Now aren't you sorry your mom threw out your "kiddie" records?

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must for Disney Record Collectors, 16 Jul 1998
By A Customer
This is an invaluable resource for Disney record collectors. Beautiful pictures and detailed discriptions of every record the Disney company ever released. The prices listed might seem high, unless you remember that they are only for records in near perfect condition. I have already bought 2 copies.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Outstanding Reference for the Disney Vinyl Collector, 14 Jan 1998
By A Customer
"The Golden Age of Walt Disney Records" is a must have reference book for anyone who collects Disney vinyl. I myself had started a free on-line reference list, and can vouch that this book is extremely complete in its coverage. The access the author had to the Disney archives shows. The photos are great too. The only drawback, in my opinion, is the price guide. The book really didn't need to have one. I find the prices to be ludicrously high, and will only hurt the hobby once record sellers start using these inflated prices to mark items.
