As the title suggests this really is everything you need to know about golden retrievers, from finding a reputable breeder, choosing the right puppy or older dog for you.. through to settling the new family member into your home..positive behaviour methods, preventing problems from developing...health care, problems the breed experiences, diet and training even down to teaching tricks which could help you like fetching the telephone. Theres even a section on the golden retriever as a therapy dog.
You can tell this guide has been written by very experienced people who care very much about the breed and really know their stuff. I bought this as we are waiting to bring our golden retriever pup home and now feel reasured that I will have a comprehensive reference guide to every aspect of owning a golden!
