My son received this book as an Easter gift this year and it has become one of his favourite bedtime reads.

With sumptious illustrations and clever rhyming text, it's easy for younger children to follow, and to pre-empt what comes next.

A great substitute for that inevitable chocolate overload.

My son got bought this book for easter and we were dubious as the pictures are very old fashioned but .......... this is now his favourite book and we have to read this every night or he won't go to sleep, it has lift flaps but we know it so well we don't need to use these anymore.

This book is just that - a real gem - beautiful colours, illustrations and textures. My children loved it - and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, too.
