kids love it but was a xmas present - takes ages to remove from packaging - just a shame the car isnt as robust as the packaging. it broke xmas day - the on/off button stopped working. the brum number plate came off. the wheely 'leg' keeps jamming and failing, the eye sticker came off. the front windscreen came off before i'd even given it to them and the door perpetually comes off. says on box 'just switch on and watch it go'. not quite true as you have to supply batteries first. the kids love it but a shame it didnt even last a day doing what it should. kids aged 2yr l0 mths, so not aged 3 yrs as recommended but even so, no excuse for some of the things going wrong with it. from a parent's point of view, disappointing. kids seem more accepting of its faults because its their favorite, brum... certainly wouldnt pay full price for one again.

I purchased this toy for my godson for christmas as he's an avid Brum fan. The moment he open the box his eyes lit up with excitement at having his very own Brum. However it took longer to remove the toy from the very substantial packaging than it suvived as a viable toy - within seconds on being placed on the floor the mechanism that causes the toy to do 'wheelies' became stuck and when the on/off switch was turned to off to try and rectify this problem we quickly discovered it wasn't possible to turn it off (short of removing its batteries!)
Item returned and a replacement was recieved very promptly, at first all was great with the replacement, it functioned as intended. After a few months however the mulfunctioning on/off switch seems to have reoccured, the toy was harmlessly sat on the floor switched off, until my godson tried to pick it up and it suddenly burst into life the wheels just began spinning and trapped his little fingers. Imagine his horror at being hurt by his much loved toy
It seems much like the character in the stories this little car has a mind of its own!!!!!
If your looking for a toy to place on the floor for a child to just sit and watch this is fine, if its a toy for your child to interact with then I'd think twice before making this purchase. Potentially this is a great idea for all Brum fanatics however the manufactures have got something very wrong in the process.

it came broken. the switch button does not work. we have to take batteries out every time we want to stop it. makes a hell of the noise as well. terribly disappointed especially as it was a birthday present

Brum just been delivered but didn't work....

Brilliant!
My little nephew watched Brum on TV and fell in love with it. I have to say this toy is great! So much fun! Highly reccomended not only for Brum's fans!

stunt brum breaks
this toy stopped working immediately or rather did not as the off button does not work so you have to remove the batteries!
