This was the second book in M.M.Kayes exceedingly readable autobiographical trilogy. It is an insight into a more innocent time and I particularly enjoyed the Characterisation and the added touches of the photographs which help to bring it all to life. It made me wish to visit the North West Frontier and see all the things which Molly and Bets had experienced and I felt a sense of sadness that those things are long since vanished.By the end of the book I felt I had taken a trip around the India/Pakistan of the past.
