Bought this aerial after a frustrating 12 months of pops, cracks, whistles and throwing my shoes at tv. Had used the best amplified high gain aerial one-for-all had to offer but reception was really intermittent with any movement in room disrupting viewing. I'm in a good reception area SW16, but my living room is at the back and obstructed on all sides by tall buildings.

As soon as I got the Philex SLX Gold digiTop 27768R and plugged it in reception was perfect with little or no initial adjustment. Its sleek and discrete and I can leave the old fashioned antennae down and only rely on the 'fan' potion for reception. This aerial topped the independent Digitaltv test and should give great reception in strong signal areas, should also give a lot of channels in average/poor areas.

Buy it you wont regret it!

Didn't want the booster one due to lack of scokets. Took the risk even though I live at the bottom of a hill and was concerned about ghosting issues - but Digi TV doens't get them, so its doing a fine job without booster. Bit bigger than expected would be my only negative.

This high performance aerial slx 27768r was worse than my old aerial. I could get better reception from a bent coat hanger.
