5.0 out of 5 stars Unputdownable!, 27 April 2007
This review is from: Going Under (Paperback)
I can highly recommend this. I read it whilst I was travelling on the buses - the writing flows so smoothly and I was so drawn in, I kept missing my stops!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good story. Good characters., 6 Feb 2007
This review is from: Going Under (Paperback)
Very good book. Funny, thought provoking, dark. The best thing is the motley crew of characters. A good mix. Well worth reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Encapsulates the tenderness and brutality of a community, 13 Feb 2011
This review is from: Going Under (Paperback)
Aiden might not be the most obvious candidate to become an MP - a middle-aged factory worker with no previous involvement in politics. But his unusual means of protesting against the closure of an electronics factory draws worldwide attention and exposes him to the sometimes ruthless glare of the media.

As the community reacts to Aiden's confinement, the coffin encapsulates the tenderness, and sometimes the brutality, of a closely-knit South Wales community.
