If you want a taste of Post-Pogues driving, semi-anarchic celtic punk to get the full experience you need a live concert to capture this musical genre and this band is pretty good at delivering this. Its not something you would play every day - but when you get that feeling you want to kick over a few establishment values and start a riot you can't do much better than this. Well worth the money

Boston's finest! its punk, its folk, its roots are Irish music, so of course they take heart and inspiration from the Pogues. The music is fast furious, the sound is big, the choruses huge, its swing your pint glass jump up and down and shout along at the top of your voice. Love it! The extra live CD is great, I must see this band play live!!!!

Great combo album from a great band!

I'd already bought the mp3 album from Amazon, but had to pick this up when it came out. The studio album is great. The Dropkicks put a lot of energy into their studio recordings and it's always a pleasure to hear new stuff from them.
The live recording is even better in my opinion. It's a fantastic capture of their live performance and is doubly special for me, as I was at the Saturday concert at Fenway when it was recorded. Listening to the cd and watching the video download have been great ways to remember that fun night, with good friends and the exciting experience we had at Fenway Park.
While not perfect, it's definitely one of the better concert recordings I've purchased. If you're a fan of the Dropkicks, this is not to be missed!
