When I left England to relocate to the Costa del Sol some 4 years ago I read as many books as I could and watched every reality TV programme about life in Spain and the process of relocation. Most were very helpful but none provided all the information I wanted or needed because in most cases they dealt with Spain as a whole and not the Costa del Sol in particular. Despite this, there is a lot of general information in this book which would be equally valuable for someone going to live anywhere in Spain.

In "Going to Live on the Costa del Sol", I have attempted to provide the reader - whether considering a move or newly arrived on the coast - with all the necessary information to help them make the decisions vital for their new life:

Relocating from the UK is not all plain sailing and it would be very wrong to paint a totally idealistic picture of the process.
