If your child, or sibling is going into hospital this book is fantastic, I (mum) was going to have an operation and my nearly 3yr old and I read this book several times before I went in and so although she was sad I was away she kind of understood and impressed the nurses with her own sethoscope which she informed them all was to check my breathing!!!!

My granddaughter really enjoyed this book. It is well written and describes what it is like to be in hospital. The stickers are great and make the book fun whilst dealing with a life experience. Would be good if your child needed to go to hospital.

This is a cheery, accessible book for children about visiting the hospital. it explains things in a way they can understand and makes the whole experience less daunting for them. Useful if your child will be visiting hospital in the near future.

I assume like most people who buy this book, it was bought as my child was going into hospital, it was sweet and useful to prompt a discussion about staying in hospital.

It's ok
This book does exactly as it says. Very basic info and glosses over what it is like to be away from home etc. Could have a bit more detail to be of use.

Much better books out there - Not recommended
I bought this for my son before he had to go into hospital. We were very disappointed - the pictures are unattractive and dated, and it was not remotely appealing to him.
