2.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as her other books, 9 Sep 2008
By Avid (London, UK) - See all my reviews
I bought this because I read her excellent book Nickel and Dimed which is about trying to live on the minimum wage in the United States - that book is even better than the UK alternative, Hard Work by Polly Toynbee. But this book is simply dull. It reads like a load of quickly-typed weblogs, has no original research and confuses sarcasm with humour - they are sometimes the same, but not here. A real disappointment. Her editor should have told her to write something else.
