In that while you'll find very little you haven't encountered before it's probably worthwhile to continue reading for the odd item that few will have met before.

What really does come across is the level of the author's thinking, which is certainly on a deeper level than I had anticipated, and it is because of this that I think it worth your time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting insight into Goebbels's propaganda 11 Nov 2012
Verified Purchase
This is an interesting look into how Goebbels viewed propaganda, which in itself may have been a powerful piece of propaganda (see the section where he claims that National Socialist propaganda is successful because it is telling the truth). However, one problem that I have reading this is that I do not know if it is propaganda; there is no source reference of any kind. I do not know whether this is something that he wrote in a personal diary, whether it was in a public speech, whether it was a document spread internally in the party. The context here is vitally important, and in this case sadly lacking.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's a pamphlet not a book 9 April 2013

It was an interesting read though it was so short it should have been offered for free.
I didn't notice that it was only 9 pages when I bought it, but I learned to start looking at the amount of pages in a 'book' from now on.

Not much content. Did not look deep enough into the mind of Goebbels and the way he used propaganda to infuluence what was perhaps the most enlightened people of his day.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting information 8 May 2013
By Arlan - Published on Amazon.com
There was a tremendous amount of information in here that showed exactly how Dr. Joseph Goebbels believed. I was shocked to to see how much of it still applies with propaganda beliefs today.
4.0 out of 5 stars A look into the mechanics of Nazi propaganda 26 Aug 2013

Not comforting, but a view from master manipulator. Gives a look into what was on his mind, but was it a real view or more propaganda to serve his purposes?
