For a while, Godskitchen seemed to be going the same way as the Ministry, Cream and Gatecrasher CDs, leaning more towards the commercial stuff than the real Trance music and Computer mixing rather than real DJ's so I was a little hesitant to buy this.
However, I took the risk because it was 'Underground' and mixed by DJ's and I'm happy I did. But firstly, let me say, it's not really Trance, well, not until you get to mid-way through CD2 its not. CD1 is OK, nothing great but background beats. CD2 is better and the beats are great and then we get full on euphoric non-commercial Trance. Superb.
Ok so CD1 may be OK, but look at the price! CD2 is worth that alone! had it been £15 then I'd say think twice, but at less than a tenner - well worth it. Decent Trance CDs are quiet hard to get hold of these days with the likes of Ministry giving the whole scene a bad name by churning out commercial pop rubbish! This is one to add to your collection.
