Product Description

What is the destiny of planet earth? What is going to be the fate of mankind? We don’t have to guess. The Bible spells out God’s plan for the ages in great detail through prophecies given thousands of years ago.

In this book, Dr. David Reagan presents a panoramic survey of the fundamentals of Bible prophecy, with focus on the prophecies that relate to the end times. In the process, he reveals God’s plan for the redemption of mankind and the restoration of the creation.

The book is written in a down-to-earth, easy-to-understand style. Although all the chapters relate to the overall theme, each chapter is designed to stand alone. This makes it possible for you either to read the book straight through or to skip around, reading only those chapters whose topics appeal to you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent if you are interested in prophecy 13 July 2013

I bought this book because I find prophecy very interesting and I am always curious to learn more. This book is very readable and makes it all very straighforward. The writer ties sciptures together and help you as the reader to see exactly what the Bible is saying. He will give his theological viewpoint and the reason he takes that point but explains what other people take from certain sciptures. In the end it is your own individual interpretation based on the facts that enables you to come to your own persoanl conclusion as the Holy Spirit guides and teaches. Really I could not leave this book out of my hand but hope to go through it again slowly with a notebook in hand. It is really one of the best books I have ever read on the topic as it is very accessible for a curious lay person. It is most definately one of my best purchases!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid - Best for Bible Prophecy Novice 26 Aug 2006
By John Wicklund - Published on
David Reagan is a capable author and bible prophecy expert. His book "God's Plan for the Ages: The Blueprint of Bible Prophecy" consists of numerous, short chapters. Reading this book is a little like eating a bag of potato chips: The short chapters lead right in to the next one.

I believe his ministry to be fairly solid in terms of doctrine and this book agrees with "Left Behind" theology and the writings of Hal Lindsey, Dave Hunt, and Grant Jeffrey. The basic premise is that God has a timeline and various ages (Ephesians 3:9 ) or "dispensations" in which God planned for mankind. We are currently in the age of Grace in which anyone can freely claim the grace bought by the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

For those who have studied bible prophecy for some time, there is not much new in this book. However, I would heartily refer a new believer with questions on current events and bible prophecy to read this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Prophecy Book Ever! 29 Mar 2013

I have read a large volume of books dealing with Biblical Prophecy. This is the clearest, most concise, easy to understand book I have read thus far. Dr. Reagan breaks everything down, actually simplifying a very complex subject. One aspect of the book that I found delightful is that he writes with great respect concerning others whose viewpoints differ with his concerning some of the most prominent areas of disagreement in prophecy. For instance, while he believes in a pre-tribulation rapture of the saints, he presents the mid-trib and post-trib views with great clarity and balance. Unfortunately, this can be rare among believers. Some of us can actually take great offense at our brothers and sisters whose opinions in these matters differ from what we believe. If you would like a balanced view of Biblical Prophecy, or if you know another believer who seems very daunted by the subject, I urge you to give this book a try. It is not so simplistic that is fails to teach the deeper things of God and His plans, but it does not require a PHD to understand it either. It is a treasure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Once you start, you cannot lay this book down. 13 Oct 2012

The book is written so the layman can read and understand. It gives all the scripture necessary for any fact checking you deem necessary. My suggestion would be for the readers to read the noted scriptures for a better understanding of the scriptures. This will slow the reading but will be very beneficial.
