Book Description

The Native American trickster god and Richard Green, one of his mortal marks, find themselves unwitting bedfellows as they seek to regain what they have both lost. The trail leads them to England, where they find murdered Anglo-Saxon spirits, a reclusive god of the forge, a London gentleman’s club exclusively for deities and a terrifying conspiracy.
If Coyote is going to save the world and get his mojo back, it’s going to take everything in his bag of tricks—and he’s suffering from the ultimate performance anxiety.

"You had me at, 'COYOTE HAS LOST HIS PENIS.' Kelleher writes something here that is magical, hilarious, disturbed, and inspired." -- Chuck Wendig, author of GODS & MONSTERS: UNCLEAN SPIRITS and THE BLUE BLAZES.

5.0 out of 5 stars awesome from start to finish 11 July 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Old gods in modern settings stories can be very hit and miss. This is a hit. To discuss it further would doubtless provide spoilers. It's one of those stories where it's a shame it has to come to an end. I could happily spend much longer with coyote on his travels.... at a safe distance of course.

Ok, this was just MUCH more entertaining than expected. I really liked how it very subtly played with the previous two books. Using Coyote as the lead was fun. Go for will be surprised how much you enjoy this book!

The best of the Gods and Monsters series yet. The overlapping pantheons struggle against each other to both overwhelm and protect this world and the mortal l s that inhabit it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great atmosphere! 14 Nov. 2013

I really like the world developed where the gods wander amongst us and only extraordinary events allow those mortals to see them. It should allow authors brave enough to wander from the beaten path to go where they want.
