Format:Audio CD
I read the review titled "Not woth the Wait" but checked this album out anyway, all the while wondering if I had the same CD. Where are the "grunting like a pig" vocals? Sure there's some screaming but that' pretty standard fayre in metal. This seems to be a pretty respectable release. Interestsing arrangements, thoughtful songwriting and a reasonable produdtion. This is a power metal album that wears it's influences on it's sleeve. Queensryche, Dream Theater, Anubis Gate, David Bowie (check out the "Hallo Spaceboy" cover)and others, they're all there to hear.
Don't be put off by the previous bad review. While there are perhaps no real surprises here, this is a solid release. I'm enjoying it immensely.

As stated by another reviewer, I also have no idea where "Not worth the wait" is coming from.
I found this band by looking for similar ones to Symphony X and bought their Celestial Entrance and Enigmatic Calling CDs. I found those discs 'okay' and decided to go to 3 out of 4 by getting this one with one more to go. As their most recent release I found this to be the best so far and I can't stop playing it (sorry neighbours!).
Yes, there are some growling vocals on this but I welcome them. I think the weakest link is the vocalist and although he is a thousand times better than Dream Theatre - I can't listen to them with all that thin, weak wailing - he is not as good as the Symphony X guy who is perfect for this sort of din. So a departure from the proper singing with some growling works well for me - more please!
Other than that the music is also excellent with some great, crunching riffs and production. Heavier than my other two CDs by them, I totally recommend this as a first buy if you want to discover this excellent band.
Edit: After playing this a few times I just want to re-phrase the bit about the singer being the 'weakest link'. That is a little unfair; as stated he is much better than the DT guy, just not as good as the SX dude but perfect for this band. (Well I mean, he might read my review and feel bad; don't want that!). I think I'd better get Infinity Divine now to complete the set.
