I can't praise this book highly enough. Andrew Wilson takes weighty theology and makes it extremely accessible.
Often we reduce the gospel so much we end up with this weird "me and my buddy Jesus" mindset. This book shows us the truly vast nature of the real gospel.
Short punchy chapters with wonderfully simple yet effective illustrations make God*Stories a very readable book.
If you want to get a BIG view of God you should buy this book. You won't be disappointed

Having been taught by Andrew Wilson and read his previous books "Incomparable" and "The Dawkins Delusion?" I was prepared for a thought-provoking and worship-inspiring read in GodStories. What I didn't expect was to be quite so astounded by the insights I found.
As he says in his prologue, "The point of this book is to convince you that the gospel is amazing. Knowing the gospel is the foundation for worship and mission, so the only thing we're going to do in this book is explore the beautiful, triumphant, often heart-breaking, and always-glorious stories that make up the gospel of God."
Andrew Wilson's writing is clear, intelligent and marked by his ability to communicate deep theological truths in an understandable way. I found my eyes being opened to new facets of God's character as each bite-sized chapter explained a different aspect of God's interaction with mankind.
If you want to get a new perspective on the breadth and wonder of the gospel of God then read this book. You'll not be disappointed!

This really is a first class book.
Short, bite sized, chapters of no more that 3 or 4 pages each, explore Christianity in simple language.
From the book you will get some new insights that will really make you think.
