Review

"Blade Meets Mr. Vampire…An action-packed, gore-fest that is both a fun and thrilling ride that doesn't let up till the very end". --Videoviews.com

"The violence in this film is awesome...the amount of blood sprays and severed limbs in this film puts most films to shame. It s badass through and through". --Horrorphilia.com

"God of Vampires is like no vampire film you are likely to have ever seen before! It is what a vampire film should be! Blood sprays, bodies are torn asunder, intestines spill, chainsaws rev, bullets fly, acrobatic martial arts ensue, and it is all accomplished with a delightfully gruesome sense of humor!" --Killingbox.com

3.0 out of 5 stars A Hitman Versus A Vampire 16 Sep 2011
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
Plot. Frank NG is hired to kill a chinese crime lord. He fails because the target is a vampire. Now the vamp is after Frank and everyone who he knows or has been in contact with is also a target. When they start dying Frank turns to a Chinese herbalist and with a team of vampire hunters it's a battle to the finish.
The film starts with some nice action, a shootout, but as soon as Frank gets on the phone the background score drowns out a lot of his dialogue and this continues throughout the film. Also the picture quality part of the time (but not all) was blurry or fuzzy and these 2 faults made it a real strain to watch, but worth the effort.
As for the film it's got an interesting story with an exposition of sorts halfway in. Most of the time it's serious as Frank is a professional and very motivated, but there are some funny scenes aswell. The Chinese vamp is not like the ones we usually see so that made for a nice change. There's a lot of violence that includes buckets of blood and some gore. I usually enjoy criminals versus "monsters" but not when it's hard work to view and try to follow exactly what is going on. There were some subtitles used for when the vamp speaks. Hardly necessary but had the whole film got this subtitle option it would have helped. As such I didn't enjoy this low budget effort as much as I had hoped to.
Extras include a docu of 18 mins, interviews of 25 mins, gag reel for 2 mins and trailers. USA Release but plays Region zero.

2.0 out of 5 stars Independant- do u mean cheap- guess u do 13 July 2012
By popfan
Format:DVD
An independant horror film with a boring no sense plot. poor sound and camera work throughout makes for a dull watch. I believed it would be great but all the money was spent on the packaging but not on the content
on the whole it reminded me off the kung fu movies of the seventies
old, tired and out of date
would be being polite
4/10

What more could you ask for in a horror movie about Vampires, Hitmen & Chainsaws. Brilliant, better than any major studio film. Thank you Safecracker Pictures for supporting Independent Horror films.

5 Chainsaws out of 5 Chainsaws !!!!
