I bought this book for my 6 year old child who is quite fond of books. She likes it, so I got all the others too. They are meant for young children, however the theological subjects dealt by Dr.Craig on these books aren't in any way diluted losing any of its depths! Highly recommended indeed!

These books are great. (We have the whole set.) They tend to get the best responses from our kids when read with us (at least at first), and really catch our kids off guard (in a good way) by way of exciting them to engage their minds and explore deep conversation. I haven't seen anything else like them and would definitely recommend them to any adults (parents, etc) seeking to actively train-up their kids in "logic" and "theology".

Essential Doctrines For Children 24 Jan 2014
By J. Remington Bowling - Published on Amazon.com

It's great to see a book explaining the trinity to children. The Trinity is a doctrine that most Christian adults don't clearly grasp and so they don't teach it to their children or else do a poor job at teaching it to their children.

A few years ago a Jehovah's Witness came knocking on my door and asked some of the same questions that are addressed in this book. Which means that if you get this book for your kids, you're not just teaching them essential truths of Christianity, you're preparing them to defend those views and answer challenges they may face later in life.

The writing is simple enough that a child of 7 or 6 can read this book on his/her own.

Budding Apologists 22 Feb 2013
By Cathy S - Published on Amazon.com

In some ways, this is my favourite in the series--pictures are just delightful, and the content is accessible. The only problem is that there is an error in the memory verse, repeated twice, where "God" is mistakenly used in place of "Son." I'll buy the others as they become available, though.

My boys enjoy these and learn from them 9 Jan 2014
By Paul, Northern Ireland - Published on Amazon.com

My boys do like these books and they learn the truth of them, but the reason I gave it only three stars is because I do think it would be better if the teaching could be incorporated more into a story, rather than just a conversation taking place between the family members.

This was a great gift to give my sister who needs easy resources to teach her daughter the truths of Christian theology.
