The fun and drama definitely continues in this sequel to `God Don't like Ugly', and I am glad that I did not miss out on reading this book. I had always wondered how Annette would connect with Rhonda, and what would happen to Pee Wee after their hot night together. This book explains all this and goes a lot further too, weaving more funny and emotional stories together. I know personally when I read the prequel to this novel, I found it a bit hard to read about the shenanigans of the characters as they grew older, as the majority of the book was them as teenagers. This book is solely about their adult lives and decisions they are making as adults, so it was more interesting and even funnier in my opinion.
Mary Monroe writes another great novel and invites the read to share in the life of Annette. A good read and book that is hard to put down.

I felt the book repeated itself in terms of the first story (God don't like ugly)and took too long to continue as a sequel. I was eagerley waiting to find out if Annette and Rhoda met up and sorted out their differences. Also the relationship between Pee Wee and Annette to see whether they would ever get together or would there be more obstacles along the way.
Annette has so many secrets you hope she will finally have the courage to tell her mother and immediate friends.
I don't want to say too much but it was well worth reading and I would definitely read more of her books.

As soon as I picked up this book I could not put it down. All the old favorite characters are in it along with some new ones who all bring their own drama in. I was glad that in some parts the author chose to re-cap some of what happened with Annette, Mr Boatwright, Mu'Dear and Rhonda - but she re-caped just some bits so it does not feel as if you are re -reading the first book all over again.
A marvellous sequal.

Great book
Both books are an excellent read. This is the follow up to God dont like ugly. Good purchase, definately wont disapoint.

The follow up book from God Don't like Ugly is just as gripping and keeps the series a Compulsive read.
