Ok, looking at the album in the iTunes window I have open on the other half of the screen I am going to do this track by track:

My Obsession: Good solid opener. Killswitch do this song justice and it is a great start to the EP but it is really overshadowed by what comes next.

Shattering the Skies Above: Now I am a Trivium fan, don't get me wrong, but I am also a Killswitch fan so believe me when I say that this song kicks the bum of every other song on this album. The riffs amazing, the vocals strong as hell. The song is just a blinder and it doesn't disappoint from the first RAAAAAAAAAA!

Raw Dog: Dream Theater, The gods of metal, my favourite band of all time. This is not an amazing track by their standard but it carries the complexities that Dream Theater are famous for and this opening riff is the part of the song that sticks out the most for me. Unfortunatley this is also the point where the EP declines after.

The rest: just doesn't do it for me. A combination of the bands and the material just doesn't work. Opeth another of my favourites fails to hit the mark with Throat of Winter. "This is Madness" is not a good song. I'm sorry just not my song of choice and I never get to "The End" so I can't really comment.

So this is really an EP of two halfs, a strong opening and a weak finish. As for the game, I cannot comment this is a music review, not a game review.
