5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful wonderful book! 8 April 1999
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
Simple. FUN. with layers to the book - everytime you read it, it has a different level to it, yet the book never sacrifices its spirit of simplicity and joy. irreverent at times, it makes you think, see things for yourself, not your basic 'ready-made-nirvana-just-read-it' kind of book. no pretensions either.
Wise but not stuffy.
AND its a good read to boot! Picked it up because of the title [after all anyone who could create a species as contrary as the humans HAD to have a sense of HUMOR!;-)] and its been a favorite since - in both good times and sad.
HAVE FUN ALL

5.0 out of 5 stars Understanding the Divine with common sense 5 April 1999
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
I picked up this book because I was looking for a "Dummies" type introduction to God. The title seemed right, the book was short and the font was large. The book lives up to its basic promise. It is a no nonsense, common sense introduction to the divine by someone who knows. At the same time I find new meanings in the words every time I re-read it. I may or may not read another book by the author. I am making sure that I have absorbed all from this book first.

5.0 out of 5 stars change your life 18 Oct 2000
By vidisha - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Well all i will say is read this book and yes see life differently .... ....beautifully. It's written in simple language - those who have heard sri's cassettes will immediately feel him talking to them . The book does not try to lecture anyone ... it just somehow sinks in ... touches deep within and each word ...each thing somehow applies to you .... no matter who you are ... where you are .
I am 23years old and i am ever so grateful to come across this book while i was so young - bcoz it gave me the chance to just live life so beautifully ... so for me this was the beginning of the journey ...... a fun filled and joyful one!!!
