I think it's even better than Goal because it shows what life is really like. It goes through the emotions of Santiago meeting his mother. When Santiago scores, you can almost feel and picture it. It also shows how frustrating an injury can be. I read it all in two nights. Marks out of 10: 10.

I haven't read them myself but my 12 year old son loved the first book and has collected the rest of the series. He isn't an avid reader but has enjoyed these books.
