The Go Planet Mars GPS 100 unit is great value and price. It comes with free lifetime membership and 10 courses so it's really cheap to run. Some other brands charge annual membership and the courses were not cheap. Go Planet has over 20000 courses. They will even map a course not on their database within a short time. The unit has a bright colour screen which is really good on bright sunny days. There are many language options also. The unit is really pocket size. Most importantly I has saved at least 2 or 3 shots per round. The golf course distance marker can be really inaccurate. Overall this little gadget does a great job.

Bought this item as I was attracted by cheap price and free life membership & 10 free course downloads. Sturdy piece of kit with clear bright screen. The ability to record my course data means I now have those pesky winter greens on my home recorded as a separate course file, which makes it useful all year round. Had no problems downloading the software from the website, but did struggle to claim my life membership and free downloads. However an email to customer services was responded to within 3 days (over the christmas period) and all resolved. If you are looking for a solid golf GPS without the tie of an annual subscription then this is the one for you.

The Go Planet Mars 200 is a no frills golf GPS. The build quality is very good, the unit is fully waterproof to IPX6 and the user interface is very easy to use. What more do you want.
If your looking for all the bells and whistles don't bother with the Go Planet 200, but if you're looking for basic; front, middle and back of green yardages, plus an easy measure distance function, this is the one.
Amazon price is less than £80 which includes the Go Plant lifetime membership and 10 course downloads, a bargain.
