As someone juggling a family, work and running I felt this book had been written just for me.
The books informative yet chatty style was a pleasure to read, I even found myself reading all the nutritional information in the first few chapters. Many of the recipes are quick and simple enough to tackle even after the longest run when I'm usually not in the mood to cook) and the family loves them.

This book would also be ideal for anyone cooking for an active family.

Go Faster Food arrived in the post and I casually flipped through the pages, quickly taking in my new purchase. Then I found myself drawn in by the wonderful lay out, well written content and colourful recipes.

But what caught my attention more than anything was the number of additions throughout from real runners.

Not people like Usain Bolt who have a very strict training regime and diet, but real runners like you and me who enjoy a plate of steak and chips washed down with a nice cold pint.

It's this honesty which makes Go Faster Food such a fantastic read and an essential edition to the every man who likes to go running.

With over 100 recipes and loads of little comments from the author's friends, family and running buddies, this is an essential book for anyone who enjoys running and enjoys good food.

As a keen but very amateur runner finding out that by eating delicious food I can train better and run faster has been fantastic news. As a not so keen cook what is even better news is that the recipes in this wonderful book are easy to do and don't require loads of specialist ingredients. The meals are not just great for the sportsman but liven up the evening meal for the whole family. The Thai Green Fish Curry with Rice Noodles has quickly become a favorite with both my children. This book has given me the motivation to pay more attention to what I eat and I am confident that my current half marathin PB will be broken this summer.
