First of all, "Inside the Da Vinci Code and Holy Blood, Holy Grail" is so incorrect. The gospels are there for you to read. That's about it. No further commentary and nothing mentioning either the Da Vinci Code, nor Holy Blood, Holy Grail. I was disappointed in this book. So much more could have gone into it. As far as I'm concerned it should have been called, "The Gnostic Gospels of Philip, Mary Magdalene, and Thomas." Period. And the gospel of Mary Magdalene is so partial as to hardly be there at all. There is a lot of reading into the material that I don't see. How they used this particular gospel, or any of the three as a whole knowing some of the portions are so degraded that 'scholars' guessed at the parchment words that were missing. While interesting, a disappointment as a whole.
