Product Description

Product Description

Designed to fit little gPants, the gNappies little gPant pouches unsnap from the nappy cover for fast and convenient nappy changes. Made of highly technical breathable, waterproof material, the pouch can be washed and dried quickly, making them a convenient, environmentally co-friendly alternative to disposable and cloth nappies. Because each little gPant (sold separately) includes one pouch, this six-pack will give you plenty of spares for home, day care or your nappy bag. Snap-in Pouch Simplifies Nappy Changes Four snaps hold the little gPant pouch to the gPants nappy cover, keeping it securely in place. If the nappy is just wet, simply remove the disposable or washable insert and re-use the little gPant pouch. If the pouch is messy, simply unsnap the pouch from the nappy cover and replace it with a spare.

I have read many good reviews about gnappies and their products, however i have found the nappies to be much too small. Our little boy weighs now 5.5kg and the small nappies say on them to last up to 7kg however they are already to o small and leave marks on babies skin from being too tight. Even though fasten the nappies on smallest possible position and he is not overly big!! Very average boy in shape and size. Nappies are very expensive for a very short use of 4 weeks only! Leakage occur just like disposable nappies. Quite disappointed with them as I really liked the idea. Maybe the bigger sizes are better and last longer? Also bought the newborn bundle which is again a waste of money as very expensive and only lasted 4 weeks and the fit wasn't good at all and didn't work with the umbilical cord!!

I have tried many styles and brands of cloth nappies and g's are by far my favorite. They are trimmer than any other I have tried, but I never get leaks. I highly recommend them. The extra pouches are very handy to have.

5.0 out of 5 stars save $ and the earth, here's what we do: 23 May 2011
    By harpersmom - Published on
To ecofriendly parents who don't want to pollute the earth with plastic baby diapers:
This is the reason we use gdiapers; and I will admit, they are not as easy and absorbent as pampers, or other plastic diapers on the market that take centuries to decompose; yet they do work well and our family highly recommends them.
Here is what we do: we use about 8 outters, 12 plastic liners, we buy the disposable paper liners by the case (each one is about $0.30 a pop, comparable to plastic diapers), and we have 8 gcloths, and NOW WE ALSO USE GCLOTH LINERS TO MAKE THE DIAPER CHANGES FASTER AND CLEANER.
We use the disposable (paper, can be flushed) liner just at night, at daycare, or when we are not at home; otherwise we use the washable gcloth throughout the day. This used to be a messy affair when the wee one pooped, yet not we just put a gcloth liner on top, and peel and flush it during a change. It has a water permeable layer, yet keeps all the poo off of the washable cloth liner. Sometimes, a little poo gets on the edge of the cloth, but usually only the pee gets through. At about $0.08 a pop, this is well worth it. Once the wee one has pooed, we don't need to use the liners for a few changes, so we only end up using 2-3 per day. This saves us from scraping the poo off the cloth liner into the toilet (a nasty affair), it also saves $$$.
I like the fact that you can reuse the outter and plastic liner after a pee (and sometimes poo) without having to wash it (only having to wash the cloth inner liner). Fuzzy buns and other "pocket liner" systems require the entire diaper to be washed after each pee or poo episode. The diapers end up not lasting as long. Also, after many many washed, if the velcro gets fuzzies in it and no longer sticks, gdiapers will send you new velcro tabs for free. Nice.
I highly recommend this system to everyone... save $ (in the long run) and the earth.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than the originals 10 Dec 2010

The liners that came with our first 6-pack of diapers were edged with a woven synthetic, whereas these liners are edged with some type of solid material. I've noticed that there are less seepage issues with these liners.

*NOTE* We recently purchased a 6-pack of M-sized Gdiapers, and the liners that came with them have the solid (not woven) edging, so I'm guessing that Gdiapers updated their entire line, which is good.

    5.0 out of 5 stars I love G Diapers! 25 Oct 2013

We've been using G Diapers since my son was maybe 2-3 months old. He was a premie, so we had to wait until he was big enough to fit into the diapers. They are easy to clean, easy to change, look adorable, are good for the environment and at nearly 8 months old, he's never had even a hint of diaper rash. We use the Rockin Green diaper detergent and NOTHING ELSE. Never use regular detergents on cloth diapers and definitely never use fabric softeners or drier sheets! They create a barrier and cause the diapers to repel instead of absorb. I also love that the G Diapers are pocket style because you only have to wash 1, 2 or possibly all three components at a time. If its just pee, you can just change the cloth insert. If its poop, you can usually just change the cloth insert or possibly the insert and plastic liner. I only change the shell once per day or when it gets wet or a little poo on the edge. In 5 months, we've only had one significant blow out. That's far less than my friends who use disposables. And again... No diaper rashes! Love them! I usually get 10 shells and 18 cloth inserts. That way I never run out of shells and I do diaper laundry every day & a half. Just long enough to save up a reasonable size load, but not let stuff get too old and stinky. I use a hamper with a planet wise liner (wash the liner with your diaper laundry) and deodorize with a Moso Natural Air Purifying Bag. And I never have any odor. All of these things are available on amazon. :-). Good luck on your cloth diapering journey! :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Even better than before! 18 Feb 2011

gDiapers recently updated the SPU in the lining of their gDiaper liners. I was relieved to purhase these and find that I received the new SPU and not the old leftover stock. These are such an improvement and if it's possible make gDiapers even more amazing.

Finally ordered some new pouches for our younger child to replace the old stretched out ones that we had also used for our older son. They last a long time and bleach out great in the sun! We love gDiapers!
