This book is ok - and cheap at least - but not British enough. Too many American branded products I've never heard of! And I'm pretty sure another reviewer has already said just that! So no one to blame but myself! Usual brilliant Amazon efficiency in delivery etc!

Have been newly diagnosed with diabetes and while the book is good in explaining GI it is a very incomplete listing. Better off using an online source. Disappointing

If you are looking to start a GI type diet then i advise you get this book. Although alot of the products in it are only available in the states there is more than enough useful content for British readers/shoppers.
