win the battle against your blood sugar! 31 Jan 2003
By Pedro Ditka - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
i never realized how important it is for people of all dietary needs to maintain control over their sugar levels. i am not diabetic but my wife is, and as soon as she finished the book she insisted that i read it! i'm glad she did, because i've learned plenty about easy corners to cut in making my diet painlessly more healthy (and i am not the type to willingly cut out my favorite foods). this book is a solution for a diverse range of diet-related problems....

Not much of a revolution 21 Jun 2001
By Owen's Mum - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
The basic information here is very helpful and could change your life for the better. That said, I was still disappointed with this book. It suffers from the same problem that so many nonfiction books seem to. It's got enough interesting and important information to fill a really good article, but that's about all. There's a lot of padding. The book also tells you a lot of stuff you've probably already heard, if you're at all interested in diet and health or if you have had blood sugar or candidiasis problems. I, personally, didn't find the cooking and eating suggestions all that revolutionary.

The light of understanding has finally begun to shine. I have found it to be a valuable tool in helping me to manage my weight and keep my glucose levels consistantly normal.
