Although written by professionals, this book is written in an easy, user-friendly style. It provides practical guidelines regarding the management of all the major aspects of PCOS and includes tasty PCOS-healthy recipes. All in all, I found this book to be very useful and practically applicable.

This book is a must for those with PCOS because it explains the cause of the hormonal imbalances that occur in this condition and how to deal with it long term through the low glycemic index way of eating.

One of the more recent offerings from the Glucose Revolution, highly informative, if a little speculative, as to why the overproduction of insulin could have a detrimental effect on sex hormones and ultimately health.

The problem I have with GI is that it can be lowered by eating fatty foods, and so forth, but still be potentially harmful (i.e. slow energy release does not ensure controlled insulin release).

When are we going to see the Insulin Index in print?
