This continuously-mixed 2CD Globetronica compilation is a selection of work from mainly European producers, but with tunes that almost all have at least some flavour (or at least a sample) of 'world' music, particularly Asian & African sounds.
Across the discs it manages to span downtempo, house, electro, breaks, and drum & bass. It's definitely very diverse and the worldwide flavour is (dare I say it?) very tasty.
The second disc is slightly more beat-heavy and does have a few not-particularly-ethnic recent tunes from great breaks producers like Evil Nine, Hybrid and Ils. It may not be *genuinely* ethnic music, and in some tracks I wouldn't say it was 'worldwide' at all, but it is a very consistent and listenable mix. It's smoothly put together, the tracks are well chosen. It's a quality piece of work, if a little bit hard to categorise.
