1.0 out of 5 stars Perhaps one of the worst books of the century 11 Oct 2011
By Bob - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I would like to begin by saying I wish I could have given this book negative stars. It is a terribly dry, boring, disgustingly academic book. And this is coming from a student who reads history books on his spare time. I enjoy learning and this book definitely has not taught me anything. The authors try and make what in reality is a useless, nonsense topic into a science. Its absurd. I am a student at CSUMB and a Global Studies major and we had to read this book for one of my classes. It is garbage. seriously. I would rather lick sandpaper than read this book again. The authors are a bunch of pompous A holes who think by adding really long and archaic words to their essays they are making it "Academic." In truth, not one single student in the class learned anything from this flaming pile of crap. If you like to learn and are interested in getting an education, DON'T READ THIS BOOK. Seriously, I cannot emphasize enough what a huge waste of time it is. This book and all its authors can suck it.
