About the Author

Derek Piggott MBE spent 30 years as the Chief Instructor at the Lasham Gliding Centre, and has, over the years, introduced thousands of people to the joys of silent flight. He is a keen instructor and continues to be an active competitor in gliding competitions.

This book will tell you everything you need to know from basics to the more advanced part of flying a glider. Easy to understand and with detailed diagrams this book in the gliding circle is classed as a "bible" to glider pilots, from the more advanced pilot to the student. This book is well worth buying, you won't regret it I promise!
