The Glen 500W 2150 skirting convector heater is a perfect heating solution where a low level of heat is required. This heaters unobtrusive, slimline design, makes it perfect for domestic applications where there is either no heating such as an extension, or, where additional heat is required unexpectedly (except bathrooms). The gentle heat provided by this practical heater, gives a comfortable ambient room temperature without making a sound, plus it can be used either freestanding so it can be moved from room to room, or wall mounted (brackets included) for a more fixed heating solution. The 2150 is ideal for conservatories where windowsill heights are reduced and has a neutral white finish. Aditionally is features BEAB Intertek safety approval and comes with a 1 year manufacturers warranty.
Convectors are an ideal alternative to a fan heater when it comes to heating a room. They are larger and designed to be used either freestanding or wall mounted. They come in a choice of outputs ranging from 750W to 3kW, and many feature energy saving features such as thermostats, choice of heat settings and timers. Certain models also come with inbuilt fans to extract the heat from the body of the product quickly and effectively. They are ideal as a form of low cost heating when an extension to a house has been built as they simply require mounting to the wall with brackets provided and plugged in. Far easier than extending the central heating system.

We purchased two of these heaters and put one under each window. With the radiator at one end and these 2 skirting heaters the room has become a different place. This room is 17 feet long and 12ft wide.
The heat slowly builds up so after about 2 hours we turn the heaters off. The room is nice and cosy and it does not cost a fortune in running costs. Well worth the money and would definitely recommend these.

Small inabtrusive heater, Easily fitted to the wall in our conservatory small wattage but good heat output for the size. Would recomend the Glen Skirting Heater,500 Watts.
