Book Description

This is a short story about the life of Glen Travis Campbell. He was an actor, a wonderful country musician, and television host. His popularity spiked in the late 1960's-1970's and his best known act was as the host of the Glen Campbell Goodtime hour. In 2011 he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and set off on his Goodbye Tour with his children as backup. His last performance was at the 2012 Grammy Awards where he sang his final farewell "Rhinestone Cowboy."

If you like Glen Campbell you'll love this. He's one of the last truly great singers and showmen - we'll never see the like again. His legacy is his music and what a legacy he has left...wonderful!

1.0 out of 5 stars Inaccurate 29 Jan. 2014
By Cynthia from Florida - Published on Amazon.com
Just for starters, Glen Campbell's LAST performance was in Napa Valley November 30, 2012---a date burned in my memory as I WAS THERE. I would have known if he did anything else and I closely followed him to be sure he did not but he didn't. With that glaring inaccuracy, I would never buy the book even FREE

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth a penny! 19 April 2013
By FridaFriday - Published on Amazon.com
This e-book is not worth even 99 cents!

IT IS FICTION.

IT IS NOT SANCTIONED BY THE ARTIST NAMED HERE.

IT IS NOT OFFICIAL.

Consider purchasing the album by the same name, and you will not be disappointed.

1.0 out of 5 stars A book report? 18 Oct. 2014

Is this a 10th grade book report? The book made little sense. Words were spelled wrong and it seems impossible to read about Glen's life in about six minutes. I give it an A if it was a book report.
3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting but way too short 16 May 2014

This was an interesting but way too short. It only covered one day in Glen Campbell's life. I would have loved to read more.

3.0 out of 5 stars Short Story 6 April 2013
By B. Westgarth - Published on Amazon.com

Most everything I already knew about Glen Campbell's life, he appeared to be a clean cut musician in the 60's, his show was popular with many, and I especially remember my Grandmother enjoying his music. I do not think he discussed his destructive relationship with Tanya Tucker - they were combustible when they got together!
