As a self confessed Gleek, this album is everything you would want but there a few notable ommissions from the last few episodes that should have been included:
Ain't No Way - Mercedes' song with her powerful vocal utilised and would have been awesome on this soundtrack
I Don't Want To Know - A duet between Finn and Quinn which would provide a different blend of voices on this CD
Friday - This song is awesome and should have been on as the boys create a fun party record
Jar Of Hearts - My fave song of the whole series showcase Rachel's voice and should be here as it is so beautiful
Back To Black - Santana's vocal is flawless here and would fit in well with the likes of 'Rolling In The Deep'
For Good - A beautiful duet between Kurt and Rachel which is epic and inspirational
I Love New York - A great cast number which needs a soundtrack release as its catchy, summery and anthemic
So, though there are a few missing those on this record tend to be really good
Turning Tables - a flawless vocal from Gwyneth Paltrow on a sensational song
Unpretty/I Feel Pretty - Quinn and Rachel's voices blend perfectly together on a truly inspirational duet
As If We Never Said Goodbye - Kurt's big number which is epic and really showcases his voice
Born This Way - A cast song led by those often overlooked including Tina and Kurt - absolutely amazing
Dreams - This duet between Will + April shows off both their vocals and is a truly brilliant rendition
Songbird - Santana is glorious in this anthemic classic, singing with such heartfelt passion
Go Your Own Way - Rachel absolutely nails this track with a fierce vocal
Don't Stop - This great uplifting cast song is brilliant with a great beat and another great take on a classic
Rolling In The Deep - Taking on Adele doesn't daunt Rachel + Jessie who create a fantastic version of the hit
Isn't She Lovely - A good vocal from Artie but it is too short and doesn't give him enough time to shine
Dancing Queen - After last years 'The Boy Is Mine' Mercedes & Santana team up again to perform this amazing classic
Try A Little Tenderness -Mercedes vocals are stunning on this anthem with real conviction in her performance
My Man - Rachel sings this track beautifully to create a mindblowing vocal
Pure Imagination - This cast number is haunting yet is absolutley glorious and beautiful to the ear
Bella Notte - A good song but one of the weakest on this soundtrack - could have been replaced with 'Friday'
As Long As You're There - Original Song 1 - Charice's vocal is sensational on this spine chilling ballad - Fantastic
Pretending - Original Song 2 - One of few 'Finchel' ballads from this series is awesome on all levels - Gorgeous
Light Up The World - Original Song 3 - The cast unite for this uplifting and anthemic tune which is brilliant
Overall, the best soundtrack from the second series but could have been better if 'Bella Notte' and 'Isn't She Lovely' had been missed and replaced with those mentioned above but still well worth your money
