DVD Description
There have been some stunning and legendary performances at Glastonbury and some of the most memorable moments of British pop music have taken place in Pilton over the past 33 years. Since 1994 the main stages have been filmed for Glastonbury TV and consequently there now exists a catalogue of breathtaking performances by music luminaries.
The tracklisting for this document of the festival's history has been chosen by the fans via a poll on Glastonbury's official website, the response has been overwhelming with over 30,000 people logging their votes and includes songs by Franz Ferdinand, Coldplay, the Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Robbie Williams, the, Radiohead and Paul McCartney. Forty minutes' worth of extras include A Visit To The Glastonbury Greenfields, Glastonbury by Air, Interview with Michael & Jean Eavis in 1995, Glastonbury Fayre – exclusive footage from the 1971 film, and The Glastonbury Photo Gallery.

This is superb music making. Because each year's Festival had its own "look": decisions made at the production level, these differences do figure in the overall visual impact of the film, especially when viewed with the "play all tracks" option. Most of the better looking are the naturally lit: open air shots where the performance takes over from the effects...the music reigns. Punchy stereo mix. Solid guitar rock. Watch this. Play it loud!
[Pity they had to give Paul McCartney pride of place as the finale, the highpoint of the video. While good, his is not the strongest performance.]

Still play this dvd to this day.. got some absolute classics on here. It really highlights why Glastonbury is so diverse..Get it now
