5.0 out of 5 stars Lying comfortably in Bed with a book 7 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase
One of my great passions is reading and I always looked forward to going to bed with my favourite book. Unfortunately, since I had cataract operations on both eyes I now have to wear reading glasses. This came as a blow to me because I could not lie comfortably in bed with my glasses on.

I was beginning to wish my old short sightedness back when I watched a movie on TV with Jack Nicolson playing a patient with cancer. He was lying flat on his back in bed watching TV wearing these angled mirror glasses. I thought "Eureka" and immediately went searching on my favourite site Amazon. Within a couple of minutes I found the Leicke Prism Glasses and, being Amazon, the price was reasonable so I ordered straight away. With their fantastic delivery set up, I got the glasses within a few days and that evening I took my current book to bed and Fantastic, I can lie on my back with my book held on my tummy (no arm strain) and read so comfortably again

These glasses are amazing and they attract lots of comments from the family. The younger members vie for turns on the sofa lying back whilst watching the TV which I hadn't thought of doing - a further new use for the glasses!

Don't get me wrong I am not a couch potato - I neither watch TV nor read during the day - but I enjoy doing things outside much more knowing that my Leicke Prism glasses will enable me to curl up comfortably with my book at the end of the day

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfort and ease 11 Mar 2013

These things are fantastic. First off i no longer get tired arms from holding a book up when reading in bed, simply rest it on my chest. No more sore neck or back from propping myself up and looking down to watch a little late night tv. I thought the glasses themselves would be heavy and uncomfy but they are well balanced and shaped. I cant fault them at all.
