This is a very nice piece of kit. It fits snugly on the camera and as I use my camera at parties and out socialising. It's comforting to know that my 550D Screen is fully protected.

You just pop off the rubber eye cup, pop this into the slot and press down, pop the rubber eye cup back on (there's a slot for this). Done in 5 seconds.If you want to protect the camera screen, this is the way to do it. The screen is still very bright with this protector fitted and you'll hardly notice that it is there at all. If you want to trade your equipment like I do when I upgrade, protect the screen as there's nothing like a scratched scruffy screen to put the dealer off !

There is a felt like lining that contacts around the camera and the rear sensors on the upper part of the 550D screen still work as there is an aperture in the frame for them!

I'm ordering another one just in case I scratch this one, however I'd rather spend a few quid on this item than knack my 550D screen!

This screen protector is a quality item, it`s well built and easy to fit, once on the camera it looks really good, not like those clear plastic ones.I did not even read the instructions cause it was so obvious how it worked, but for anyone reading this to help them decide what protector to buy, slide off the viewfinder eyepiece (upwards) then slide the screen protector on there, then put the eyepiece on to the protector, thats it, your done.If this product had a canon or nikon badge it would retail at £50 easy,at the price their selling these this is a bargain.It fitted my 550d like a glove and looks like it came that way from the factory.......Highly recommended

I've had this a few days now on my new 550D and find it works very well.
Previous screen protectors I've had on my other camera were just the sticker type, so it took me a few minutes and an internet search to figure out how to put it on: slide the eyepiece upwards and off - slide the screen protector on, and then slide the eyepiece down on top the of the screen protector.

The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is the screen protector does move side to side a little, but I'd definitely recommend getting one of these, as my other cameras always manage to get a few small scratches on the screen no matter how careful I am with them.
